How limits work

Each recipient counts toward your monthly email allowance, whether sent by an application, broadcast or automation. Active contacts and verified domains have separate limits. Daily safety and warm-up limits may also apply.

Current plans have no paid overage. When a hard limit is reached, new sends are rejected until the monthly allowance resets or the plan changes. Pay-as-you-go, annual billing, promotions and add-ons are not active in these prices.

Accepted or queued does not mean delivered, read or placed in the inbox. Sending categories guide managed paths without promising a dedicated IP.

Before you choose

Do marketing and app email have separate allowances?

No. Broadcasts, automations and app messages share the monthly recipient allowance. Campaigns also apply audience, suppression and unsubscribe checks.

What if my estimate exceeds Scale?

Contact sales with your recipient, contact and domain needs. Five million or more recipient sends is an Enterprise volume inquiry. A quote does not increase an existing plan limit.

Can I send by SMTP?

SMTP submission is not available yet. Send with the REST API today.

Fair-use protection

Free means one fair allowance.

We monitor free accounts for fraud, coordinated account creation, and attempts to evade limits. Related accounts may be restricted, suspended, or closed. Shared networks are not blocked by themselves, and affected customers can appeal.
