What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They let a site remember your preferences and keep you signed in, and they help us understand how the service is used.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Can you disable it? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session integrity, security (for example, the operator session cookie), and load balancing. The service will not function without these. | No (required to operate the service) |
| Preferences | Remembering your choices, such as light or dark theme, stored in your browser’s local storage. | Yes (clearing storage resets them) |
| Analytics | Aggregate, privacy-respecting usage measurement to improve the product. Used only if enabled, and never to build advertising profiles. | Yes |
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
Controlling cookies
You can control cookies and storage in several ways:
- through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage;
- by declining non-essential cookies where a consent control is presented; and
- by clearing site data, which resets preference settings such as theme.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and break core functionality.
